New Erykah Badu/New Nas

The Erykah Badu joint is a Remix of the Healer (Produced By Madlib) that features Pharoahe Monch ("P is a walkin time bomb like tick tick tick tick...") who is an excellent addition to a track I already was feelin in this first place. Let's get a remix to Honey!!! The Nas joint features DJ Khaled (who actually is not annoying me much on the track) and has a beat (kind of sounds like that We Takin Over joint) that you would not fathom Nasir on. He killed the track though in typical Nas fashion.

New Nas (Official Single) - Hero

This joint features Keri Hilson and is produced by Polow Da Don. The beat is a little techno-ish but has some good pop appeal and the lyrics are Nas-like as usual. Overall the joint is hot and I hope it gets that radio play.

New Little Brother/New Nas

Two new tracks. One is produced by 9th Wonder & comes from Little Brother's new album, "And Justus For All". The other sounds like it is produced by Toomp & comes from Nas' new album (whatever he will call it I guess?). Personally, I like the Nas track better. The drums could have been louder though. I might need some time for the Little Brother track to grow on me.

Nas changes Album Title From Nigger To Nas

Yes, Nas will change the title of his next album from "Nigger" to "Nas" as reported by HipHopDX.com. The album title had been causing a lot of controversy and Nas finally gave in and changed the title. I respected Nas' decision to name his album "Nigger" in the first place. I knew there was a good reason for the title and that there was an overall message to be learned, but everybody doesn't catch on to messages the same. Imagine white teenagers walking into the record store and saying, "Can I get that Nigger Album". What!? Instances like that can create bad situations, so I'm actually glad he decided to change the title. The album will be as good with the new title.
